Expecting The Day
A very foggy and smoky early morning in Jackson Hole. It was late in the fall and there was no reason that I knew of for the haze that morning, but the sun was diffusing into the pinks and then colors of the atmosphere and offered glimpse of morning through the cottonwoods.  I'm forever drawn to the shape and a love of cottonwoods and strength of light with atmosphere.  The combination of the two made that morning truly stand out from the rest as dramatic anticipation of the day.
