Memorial Fine Art

Turn to the beauty and joy of an honorable life.

To George Northup, this was expressed in bronze, and so as with most things that moved him, he responded with sculpture.  It was his intention that seeing these pieces bring joy and honor in remembering life well-lived.
This collection of fine art bronze sculptures was created to hold ashes or objets du coeur to honor and remember with joy those whom we have lost.

Still Water Brown

In the back eddies of the South Fork of the Snake river, resting in the seams between big water and stonefly laden wild grass banks there exist a few wild trout of true legend.  Perfect summer days spent standing in a freestone river with a dry fly and rod to connect with just one of them for a moment is a beloved pursuit of a lifetime for those who love the outdoors.  Designed to pay tribute, and meticulously cast using the bronze age tradition of lost wax method as all of George's fine art pieces are, this bronze sculpture may serve to hold ashes or objets du coeur.

Trumpeter

The first family flight of Trupmeter Swans marks true triumph over odds. In addition to their stark beauty, George Northup admired these magnificent white birds for their lifelong loyalty,  fierce instincts as parents, and their connection to the fragility of the wild.

Created to pay tribute to a beloved honorable life, this fine art sculpture may serve to hold ashes or objets du coeur.
