Painted on the Pedernales river on a private ranch in the Texas Hill Country, the water there was so low you could walk straight across without getting your feet wet. This is a study in contrasts. The dark Live Oaks and deep foliage against the layers of limestone featuring every tone of white and cream imaginable made this sense of place spectacular and singularly Texas.
