Across the Maasai Mara
You can hear them moving in the morning hours before sunrise from where we were camped in Kenya. Their trek from water that time of year was one they had done year after year, our presence notwithstanding. Tonally they manifest from the landscape, and it from them. This African Elephant painting was my favorite record of time spent there.
